Every Saturday, weather permitting, the Wing nuts get together to fly radio control model airplanes, tell some jokes, and have a beer or two.
The mighty B-17 may she rest in peace! She was totally destroyed on her 5th flight. On take off one of the outboard engines quit causing an unrecoverable spin into the ground. She hit like a soggy sack of potatoes! She flew like one too so I am not to sorry about this. I was quoted as saying "thank god!" moments after the disaster.
