VBS VeggieTales Float Family Fun

10/10/2001

Although the Vacation Bible School VeggieTales Float didn't win the 4th of July Parade, it still provided a lot of fun for the congregation at Islands Community Church.

The float was completed at Scheffer pond during the 4th of July party the Scheffers so generously host every year. Nearly everyone took a hand in the building and painting of the float, just in time for the parade.

The Daniels gratiously loaned their trailer and Debbie provided her artistic touch on the Asparagus family.

The float was later used as props for Vacation Bible School.

Scheffer Independance Day Picnic

10/10/2001

The sun shone brightly for this years Scheffer Independance Day Picnic. Darrol manned the barbeque and made sure everyone had an extra helping of hot dogs and steak. (I know the Darrol's dog had an extra helping of Drew Gislason's steak).
