The people at the Native village of Eyak (near Cordova AK) have asked me to join them in a fantastic project. They want to build a large (30-40 foot) umiak of the Prince William Sound type which will be used for a variety of projects including travel along traditional routes to old village sites!

We are scheduled to start up this February. I'll post other info here as the project develops.
