The property, an old homestead from the days when the Stuart Island community was first settled shortly after the start of the 20th Century, is the second from the southernmost on Stuart Island.  There are multiple excellent building sites and the property is sub dividable. Most of the property enjoys privacy from all neighboring parcels.  Big Bay Marina with its store, restaurant, pub, liquor agency, and fuel dock is approximately one mile by boat.  There is a well built road system within the property, but no roads leading to or from it.
