MULTIMEDIA ART PIECES
Richard Singer is a multimedia artist from Lopez Island, Washington who has won a number of awards throughout the Northwest.
He is former president of the Northwest Watercolor Society and was invited to include a painting
in the invitational Year 2000 Watercolor Exhibit at the Frye Museum in Seattle.
Richard Singer uses multiple steps to apply color, images and texture to the backgrounds of his paintings, then often finishes by using handmade brushes, executing spontaneous contrasting strokes of ink or paint. His boxes go through a long process of selection, assembly and painting before enclosing the contents.
