Retreat Facility Development:

It has always been Jetsun Kushok's dream and wish to develop this center into a thriving place for the benefit of all her students, students of other lineages and beings in general. All of us here and all of you out there by your support have worked really hard to put a firm foundation under this wish. The blessings of our Lamas and all that hard work now bring us to an exciting time for SKC. Jetsun Kushok is planning on spending more and extended time here giving many more teachings and retreats. This will be of such great benefit to you, her students! Therefore, we are ready to start plans for phase two...expanding the retreat possibilities with small huts ,bath house and a retreat/teaching building.  

Being able to spend this kind of time with older Lamas is vanishing. The need to move forward now is critical. With the building of individual retreat huts, we will be able to offer students really private, secluded places for their retreats, especially long term. The retreat/teaching building will offer more space for group retreats. As this newsletter is being written, the plans for this expansion are being developed. Stay tuned for exciting updates in a few months time when more information about these plans and ways you can participate will be available.

Starting and maintaining centers is a huge undertaking and not the work of a moment! However, we all know that as big as the challenges are, the rewards are even bigger. Practicing the paramita of generosity brings much merit and merit is one of the two accumulations. So, as you give to help all beings, you also help yourself in the best way possible.
