Funhouse Mentor Program - The Funhouse Mentor Program facilitates relationships through both traditional and untraditional methods. The traditional mentoring program has an average of 10 to 15 matches between young children and adults. The Funhouse Buddy Program operates on Thursday afternoons for children too young to access Funhouse activities without supervision. |
| An average of 5 to 7 kids come every Thursday afternoon where an adult staff member is present as their “buddy”. The untraditional programs, the Poetry Mentor Forum, with 12 teens involved, and the Journal Project, with 28 teens matched with seniors, have produced long-term mentoring relationships between adults and teens, a group that doesn't normally fit into a mentoring program.
