Blind Touch Drawing
Drawing is like touching the world with your eyes. Blind touch drawing helps connect the sense of sight to the sense of touch. In a blind touch drawing, draw with your eyes closed. Keep your pen in contact with the paper. Draw with one hand what you are touching with the other hand. Your drawing will not be realistic. Expect the more textured parts of the object you are drawing to be enlarged. What you will find is that you have drawn an abstraction that expresses the essence of the object in line.
